Maxim Health Systems will once again provide flu shots for 2008 at a preferred rate for Health Action Council Ohio members.  Maxim is able to conduct on-site flu shot clinics at employer locations in most areas of the U.S.  On-site clinics require a guaranteed minimum of 30 flu shots (i.e., if an HAC employer has 80 employees at a location and they anticipate that at least 30 will get a shot, an on-site clinic will be scheduled).  If the minimum cannot be guaranteed, employers may still offer flu shot vouchers to employees that may be redeemed at retail flu shot clinics conducted by Maxim in stores such as CVS, Costco, Walgreens, and others across the country.  See www.findaflushot.com for location information.   Employers interested in scheduling an on-site clinic should do so prior to September 1 to ensure availability of preferred dates, staffing and flu vaccine.
